Spanish Varietals

Bokisch, Terra Alta Vineyard, Graciano, Clements Hills, Lodi, 2016

Bokisch · 2016

$60

Expect dark cherry, blackberry, dried herb, leather, and a savory note with full body, firm tannins, and bright acidity. Single-varietal Graciano (rare even in Spain, where it's typically a blending grape) is more structured and savory than typical California reds. The 2016 California vintage was excellent.
