Expect dark cherry, dried red fruit, leather, tobacco, balsamic, dried herb, and refined oak with full body, structured tannins, and bright acidity. The 2007 Brunello vintage was warm and ripe; 2009 was warm. At 16–18 years from vintage, both should be drinking well in balanced windows.
