Expect ripe blueberry, blackberry, dark chocolate, vanilla, black pepper, and oak spice with full body and ripe tannins. The 2021 California vintage was excellent.

Caymus-Suisun is a Wagner Family of Wines property in Suisun Valley, an under-the-radar AVA bordering Napa to the east. The estate produces a range of Wagner family-style ripe red wines from Suisun Valley fruit. "Grand Durif" uses the variety's French name (Durif = Petite Sirah).
