The producer

Cliff Lede Vineyards was founded in 2002 by Canadian businessman Cliff Lede. Poetry is the estate's flagship single-vineyard Cabernet, sourced from the Poetry Vineyard high in the eastern hills of the Stags Leap District. The estate is also known for naming its rooms and wines after rock songs.

What critics say

Poetry has received consistently high-90s and occasional 100-point scores from major critics including Robert Parker / Wine Advocate, and is regularly cited among the top Stags Leap Cabernets.
