Expect raspberry, dark cherry, plum, black pepper, dried herb (garrigue), and a touch of leather with medium-to-full body and refined tannins. The 2018 Rhône vintage was good.

The producer
E. Guigal is one of the most important producers in the Rhône Valley, founded in 1946 in Ampuis. Delas Frères is a separate Northern Rhône négociant. Both are major producers of Côtes du Rhône — note the database lists both with a slash, which is unusual; verify which producer this actually is.
What critics say
Both Guigal and Delas Côtes du Rhône bottlings are consistently regarded as the benchmark for the entry-level Rhône category, often cited as the best-value Rhône wines.
