Expect black currant, dark cherry, cedar, graphite, dried herb, and refined oak spice with full body and structured tannins. The 2012 Washington vintage was excellent. At 13 years from vintage, the wine should be drinking well.

The producer
Figgins is the family estate of Chris Figgins, who also runs Leonetti Cellar (one of Walla Walla's foundational wineries, founded by his parents in 1977). The Figgins Estate Red is a small-production estate-grown Bordeaux blend from a hillside vineyard.
