Cabernet Sauvignon

Hundred Acre, Kayli Morgan, Napa Valley, 2013

Hundred Acre · 2013

$999Trophy

Expect dense black currant, blackberry, dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, and refined oak spice with full body, ripe but structured tannins, and a long finish. Kayli Morgan typically shows slightly more red-fruited and floral character than the Ark Vineyard expression. The 2013 Napa vintage was excellent.

The producer

Kayli Morgan is one of Hundred Acre's flagship single-vineyard Cabernets, paired with the Ark and Few and Far Between bottlings. Hundred Acre was founded by Jayson Woodbridge in 2000 and is one of Napa's most sought-after cult producers, with limited allocations and heavy critical acclaim.

What critics say

Kayli Morgan has received numerous 100-point scores from Robert Parker / Wine Advocate and is regularly cited as one of Hundred Acre's signature single-vineyard expressions.
