Expect ripe dark cherry, black raspberry, baking spice, vanilla, and a touch of forest floor with medium-to-full body, silky tannins, and bright acidity. The 2013 California vintage was excellent and age-worthy; 2014 was warm and ripe; 2021 was excellent.

The producer
Kosta Browne was founded in 1997 by Dan Kosta and Michael Browne. The Sonoma Coast bottling is the brand's flagship appellation Pinot — Wine Spectator named the 2009 Sonoma Coast its Wine of the Year, only the second time a Pinot Noir held that title.
