The producer

Luciano Sandrone is one of Barolo's most acclaimed modern producers, founded in 1978 in Barolo village. Le Vigne is the estate's multi-cru blended Barolo, sourcing from four named vineyards across the appellation. Sandrone helped lead the "Barolo Boys" movement that modernized Barolo winemaking in the late 1980s and 1990s.

What critics say

Sandrone Barolos consistently receive scores in the mid- to high-90s from major critics and are regarded as benchmark modern Barolos.
