The producer

Pio Cesare is one of Piedmont's most historically important producers, founded in 1881 by Cesare Pio. The estate produces both Barolo and Barbaresco from owned vineyards across Piedmont and is family-owned through five generations. Pio Cesare is widely regarded as one of the producers that bridges traditional and modern Barolo styles.
