The producer
Spring Valley Vineyard was founded by the Corkrum-Derby family on the Walla Walla wheat country property they have farmed since the late 1800s. The estate became a signature Walla Walla producer, with their wines named for family ancestors (Frederick, Uriah, Derby, Nina Lee). Now part of the Ste. Michelle Wine Estates portfolio.
What critics say
Spring Valley wines, including Frederick, receive consistently strong reviews as benchmark Walla Walla Bordeaux blends.
